All Spruced Up!

This one was fun....all because of the coloring :o) I don't care how old you get, it's always fun to color. Very basic supplies are needed to make a fabulous Christmas card - quickly! Let's get you started ;o)

Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes (109515; set of 8 -$30.95)
Paper: Sage Shadow: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (finished size), Real Red: 3" x 2 - 1/4", Whisper White: 2" x 2 1/4"
Ink: Basic Black Classic Stamp Pad, Stamp & Write Markers in: sage shadow, yoyo yellow, brilliant blue, and real red
Stampin’ Up! Accessories: Snail Adhesive, 6" of Red Gingham Ribbon, Crop-o-dile, Stampin Up paper snips.

Okay, now you know what we need - let's get started :0) First, omit the verse from your stamp by inking just the tree in basic black and stamp on your whisper white CS. Color in your image with your S&W markers using your own coloring technique. I like using the fine side b/c it gives a sketched look. Using snail, adhere to your Whisper White CS to your Real Red CS. Using the small hole on your crop-o-dile, punch a hole in the left hand corner and tie on your red gingham ribbon. Now, ha....carefully emboss the bumps at the bottom of your real red and sage shadow cardstock. ***I used the crop-o-dile, but be VERY CAREFUL - you will pierce your paper*** Using your real red s&w marker ink just the words on the tree stamp "All Spruced Up" and stamp on the bottom right hand of your card above your embossed bumps. Now, adhere your real red cs to your sage shadow card - and there it is - you have completed another Christmas card. Enjoy and have a wonderful day.
PS. In a day or so I will post a bunch of new pics and show you why I've been MIA ;0)
