Love You Much

This was a very fun peaceful card to make. Silly I know, but it was :0) Here's what I used!

Stamps: Love you much stamp set (113756; set of 6 -$25.95) Paper: Candy cane lane DSP 4" x 4-1/4", vanilla cs card (finished size), Pink Pirouette 2 - 3/4" x 2 1/2", confetti white 2 1/4" x 2 1/2", kiwi kiss 4 1/4" x 2". Ink: Riding hood red Classic Stamp Pad, Kiwi Kiss Classic Stamp Pad, Jet Black Staz-On. Stampin’ Up! Accessories: Snail Adhesive, 3 hearts punch, glue pen, dazzling diamond glitter, blender pens, scallop edge punch, 1/16" circle punch, stampin dimensionals, and paper snips.

On the confetti white, I stamped the Love stamp (omit the flower) in Black Staz-on. Then using my ink pad lids picked up color with my blender pen and added color to the image. I then punched out just the little heart from the DSP and attached where flower was. I then used my glue pen and went over the letters and covered with daz. diamonds. I adhered the confetti on pink piroutte. I attached the DSP to the card front and adhered my image with stampin dimensionals. I then stamped the hearts in kiwi kiss on kiwi kiss and used the scallop edge. I then used the 1/16" circle and punched each scallop and attached to the bottom of the card. Have fun and I hope this is some inspiration to you!

Hugs & Kisses

This card was so much fun, and really pretty simple. It was fun to make and quick and easy to replicate (could be cute for all of those little valentines to send to school!

Stamps: Love you much stamp set (available with the new catalog; set of 6 -$25.95) Paper: Riding Hood Red: scraps, Candy cane lane DSP scraps, vanilla cs card (finished size), Pink Pirouette 4 - 1/4" x 5 1/2" and scraps. Ink: Riding hood red Classic Stamp Pad, Pink Pirouette Classic Stamp Pad Stampin’ Up! Accessories: Snail Adhesive, 5/8" vanilla grossgrain ribbon, linen thread, 3 hearts punch from new catalog, small and large tag punches, scallop circle punch, and 1 - 1/4" circle punch, 1/16" circle punch, sponges, stampin dimensionals, and paper snips.

First I stamped the big heart from Love you Much in Pink Pirouette on the Pink Pirouette cs randomly. I then stamped two of the scallop stamps in riding hood red ink, one on pink pirouette and punched the center with the 1 1/4" circle, then the same scallop in riding hood red ink on riding hood red cs and punched with the scallop punch. I attached the circle on the center with a stampin dimensional. I then punched the hearts out of candy land dsp, punched two small tags in pink pirouette, and two large ones in riding hood red cs. I sponged the edges of the pink pirouette tags with riding hood red ink, and assembled my tags for layering. Using the 1/16" circle - punched the two small holes and threaded the lined thread and tied a knot. I slid the linen thread on the 5/8" vanilla grossgrain and attached to the pink pirouette background then popped the hearts with stampin dimensionals. I then attached the bottom tag with snail and the top tag with a dimensional for dimension. I added dimensionals to my scallop popped them on the card. And boom - I was done. Sounds like a lot, but with the punches doing the majority of the work. It was really quite simple and a great way to use all the scraps laying around.

Christmas - You said What?

Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la la la la la!

Ha ha ha! Okay, I am being silly. Is there anyone out there who did not get to send out Christmas cards this year? Well, I am one of them. I had the stuff ordered back in August, but ya know this came up and that came up and before I knew it, I was like oh crap......Christmas is tomorrow. Now, I know as a crafter, stamper, and demonstrator, this is a sin! My grandmother infact informed me I would not be getting a card next year........because I did not send her one. How low am I, to make Gram tell me that?

So, to all my lovely friends!!!!!! Here is my challenge to you! I want to make just 10 cards a month (more if you choose, and different if you want) but need to be accountable to get them done. My goal is ten of the same card each month, but a different card each month (same if you prefer). So you have Jan - Oct, that will give you atleast 100 cards to send or sell! I will have to send them out, especially to make up for this year. So..........who's in with me? I need to be accountable to several people who will make me feel very bad if I don't get it done!

You can use any stamp set you choose, retired or not (some of mine will be) ;0) and have you either email a picture to me, or send an actual sample (I will return it to you if you want, or put it with samples to inspire others). I would also like to post them on my blog for all the world to see *and I will give you the credit for your work* I must have everyones by the last day of the month so I can have them posted within the first week.

So.......let me know who is interested. I will put you on the list! You can email me at caroladoyle@yahoo.com or leave a comment on my blog and I will add you to the list.

2) Kim Jernigan
3) Linda Funk
4) Kelly Johnson
5) Brecya Greinke

*This post will stay at the top for a few days to give everyone a chance to get in on it with me. Scroll down for current post!

From the Heart

I was so inspired by my friend Marie, her post yesterday just sent me to the stamp table to complete my own creation! She does such wonderful projects and really has her heart in it!
So, here is what I used: Stamps: Love you much stamp set (available with the new catalog; set of 6 -$25.95), Holidays & Wishes (109431; set of 6 - $17.95), Holiday Blitz (109353; set of 28 - $36.95) Paper: Rose Red: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (finished size), Chocolate Chip: 1 3/4" x 5 1/2", Confetti White: 4" x 5" and scraps of confetti white Ink: Riding hood red Classic Stamp Pad, Chocolate Chip Classic Stamp Pad, and Pink Pirouette Classic Stamp Pad Stampin’ Up! Accessories: Snail Adhesive, Soft Sublte Brads, corner round punch, Stampin dimensionals, build a brad, 1/2" circle punch, 1/16" circle punch, 5/8" vanilla grossgrain ribbon, blender pens, scoring tool on my paper cutter :0), and paper snips.

First I stamped two hearts on the scrap of confetti and punched them with the 1/2" circle and assembled the build a brads. I then took the 4" x 5" confetti and on a diagonal scored every 1/2" both ways to create my grid. I stamped two hearts from Love you much one on confetti, and one on ridding hood red scraps. Using my paper snips I cut both out for a layered look. Picking up ink from the stamp pads, I added some color to the heart. Punched 3 holes with the 1/16" circle and inserted 3 pink brads. I then layered the hearts using stampin dimensionals. I then layered the grid confetti on my rose red base, then tied a bow with the vanilla grossgrain around the choc. chip cs and inserted the build a brads, and mounted it. I stamped my verse "from the heart" in rose red and added my cut out heart with stampin dimensionals as well.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it. I have three more to post over the next couple days :0) Have a great day!
